Actor Vijay is all set for his new film and it is to be titled has Vettaikaran . This film will be directed by Babu Shivan, an assistant director of Dharani. The film is being produced by M. Balasubramanian and B.Gurunath Meiyappan. This is Vijays first movie with AVM production.The heroine of the movie is yet to be decided, with Illeana D’Cruz, Nayantara and Asin Thottumkal being considered. However, since Vijay and Nayantara will be doing a film called Villu before Vettaikaran, the producer has decided to drop her from the options as he did not want to repeat the same pair in two consecutive films. According to reliable sources, Ileana has not yet given nod to act in the film but she is expected to take the female lead in the movie.
